Ironing boards are good for clothing items etc but when it comes to ironing yards of fabric it s just really nice to have a wider space for ironing. Before you sew your three pieces together make sure they are laid on top of one another in this order. The top fabric should be the same size as the batting and the bottom fabric should extend at least 1 5 out from the batting. My ironing board simply isn t big enough and it would be a pain to keep moving everything around.
